5,000 writing prompts

I wasn’t sure how to reblog Bryn Donovan’s  post about writing prompts, so I copied it, for any interested writer. Sorry for what written part transferred wrongly – in edit mode, I see them all right…

Goodbye, writer’s block. 5,000 WRITING PROMPTS is available for pre-order on eBook.

Hi friends! Many of you are familiar with the lists of plot ideas on my blog, such as the following:

I love coming up with writing prompts and sharing exercises that have worked for me! That’s why I wrote this book that includes master plots, dialogue and character prompts, setting prompts, and many more ways to spark your creativity.

Ending Writer’s Block: the 2-Week Challenge

If it’s been a while since you’ve been in the writing habit, you’re not alone. Most writers go through dry spells! With my new book, I have an easy challenge that could break the spell.

It’s really simple. Every day for two weeks, you choose a writing prompt from the book at random and write about it for fifteen minutes. (Even very busy people can usually do something for fifteen minutes a day.) Write whatever comes to mind, as fast as you can. It doesn’t have to be good. It doesn’t even have to make sense.

At the end of the two weeks, I bet you’ll find that your creative inspiration is back. You’ll be able to create joyfully and prolifically again.

I hope everything’s going well with you! Happy writing!

Love and light,
